This water hammer arrestor kit is an accessory designed to extend the Dosatron Hobby System. The Dosatron Hobby System is a modular, multi-pump setup engineered for domestic and hobby growers. The arrestor prevents the loud banging noise caused by sudden stops in water flow.
Installed in the water supply system, the Water Hammer Arrestor (WHA) device stops the pressure wave that occurs when water flow is abruptly halted. This protects piping, fittings, and appliances from damage. It is intended for hobbyist growers using the Dosatron Hobby System who want to safeguard their plumbing.

The Water Hammer Arrestor (WHA) is installed in the water supply system to prevent the noise of water hammer, the loud banging that can occur when water flow in a water pipe is abruptly stopped by a shut-off valve. This noise is caused by a pressure wave that propagates through the pipe when the flow in the water pipe is suddenly stopped, and can cause damage to pipes, fittings, and appliances.
