About us. Our 9 year history

GoToGarden started in 2017 out of personal frustration. Our founder was a hobby grower who spent hours navigating online shops that felt built by people who had never touched a plant — cluttered layouts, vague product descriptions, no real guidance on what to actually buy or why. He knew there had to be a better way.

What are the main challenges solved by automated drip irrigation systems?

Consistent, automated watering is crucial for plant health, especially when growers face time constraints or travel. Wilma systems prevent over or under-watering, ensuring optimal nutrient delivery and reducing stress during seedling, vegetative, and flowering stages. These systems are designed for various media, including soil, coco, and hydroponic setups, providing flexibility for different grower preferences. Many systems feature large reservoirs, like the 150L tanks found in some configurations, ensuring continuous hydration for extended periods, mitigating the risk of dehydration.

Explore the range of Wilma automated drip systems

The Wilma range offers solutions for every grower, from hobbyists to professionals. For smaller spaces, the Origin Wilma Small 4x 11 l and Origin Wilma Small 4x 6 l provide compact options. Mid-range growers can select from systems like the Atami Wilma Large 4x 11 l or the Atami Wilma Large 4x 18 l. For larger operations or those seeking maximum yield potential, the Atami Wilma XXL 5x 25 l, Atami Wilma XXL 16x 11 l, and Atami Wilma XXL 8x 18 l are robust choices. Wider footprint options are also available, such as the Origin Wilma XL Wide 8x 18 l and Origin Wilma Large Wide 8x 11 l. Smaller reservoir capacity systems like the Atami Wilma Mini 8x 1.65 l cater to specific needs.

Wilma system benefits and brand differentiation

Wilma systems, whether from Origin or Atami, are distinguished by their automated drip irrigation technology, designed for efficiency and ease of use. While both brands offer reliable automated solutions, Origin systems often emphasize robust construction and specific configurations for diverse needs, whereas Atami is known for comprehensive kits that often include larger reservoir capacities and a focus on complete grow solutions. For growers prioritizing a straightforward, highly automated setup for various media like soil, coco, or hydroponics, the Wilma range provides a dependable choice over more manual watering methods.

Navigating your choice in automated drip systems

Growers using coco coir during the vegetative stage may find systems like the Atami Wilma XL 4x 25 l beneficial for consistent hydration. For those working with rockwool and aiming for the flowering stage, a system with a larger reservoir such as the Origin Wilma XL Wide 8x 25 l is advisable. If you are a beginner using soil and managing a small setup, the Origin Wilma XL 4x 18 l offers a good starting point. Larger-scale hydroponic growers focusing on dense plant growth will benefit from the capacity of the Atami Wilma Small Wide 8x 11 l or the Atami Wilma XXL 8x 18 l.
