About GoToGarden

GoToGarden started in 2017 out of personal frustration. Our founder was a hobby grower who spent hours navigating online shops that felt built by people who had never touched a plant — cluttered layouts, vague product descriptions, no real guidance on what to actually buy or why. He knew there had to be a better way.

So he built it himself.

The team is made up of people from the same background — growers, gardeners, and enthusiasts from the same neighbourhood who share the same obsession with doing things properly. Nobody here learned this from a catalogue. We grow ourselves, we test what we sell, and we stock what we'd actually use.

What we set out to change — and still focus on every day — is clarity. That means product descriptions written by people who understand the full growing cycle, not copy-pasted specs from a supplier sheet. It means tools and filters on the site that help you narrow down the right lighting, the right nutrients, or the right hydroponic system for your specific setup — without needing to already know the answer before you search.

Whether you're setting up your first grow tent, dialling in environmental controls for a professional facility, growing microgreens on your kitchen counter, or building out a headshop order — the experience should feel like asking someone who genuinely knows, not guessing in the dark.

Seven years later the catalogue has grown to cover everything from substrates and irrigation to extraction equipment and plant protection. The team is bigger. But the reason we built this — making it genuinely easier for growers to find the right product and understand exactly what they're buying — hasn't changed at all.
