Seed tray for capillary matting systems
This seed tray features a base with numerous holes designed for water and nutrient uptake from below. It is specifically engineered for systems utilizing capillary matting, allowing for passive irrigation and feeding of young plants.
When used with the Autopot Tray2Grow system, a capillary mat is placed on the Tray2Grow base, followed by a root control sheet. Up to four of these seed trays can then be placed on top. The capillary mat draws moisture and nutrients from the reservoir through the tray's holes into the growing medium, watering and feeding the plants. This configuration supports the "capillary matting" setup for propagation.
