The Growth Technology EC standard solution is formulated with a precise electrical conductivity (EC) value of 2.76 mS/cm. This solution is used for verifying the accuracy of EC meters and measuring the EC value of nutrient solutions. Inconsistent calibration of your EC meter with Growth Technology solutions will result in unreliable EC readings, which can lead to significant crop yield reduction and plant damage.
When calibrating, use a small portion of the solution in a separate container to test your meter. After testing, discard the used sample to avoid contaminating the fresh solution and ensure its longevity. This solution is compatible with all EC meters and can be used for all stages of cultivation across all growing media.
