Grow Timeline Planner
Plan your crop schedule from propagation to harvest with a practical grow timeline planner for hydroponics, coco, soil, and indoor growing.
The date you plan to start germination, cloning, or the first grow step.
Choose the crop style to load a practical timeline template.
Used only for planning notes and recommended checkpoints.
More training usually extends timeline and recovery planning.
Choose the type of production timeline you want to plan around.

Grow timeline planner for hydroponics, indoor growing, and crop scheduling
This grow timeline planner helps growers estimate the full crop schedule from propagation to harvest and post-harvest stages. It is useful for hydroponics, coco, soil, indoor growing, greenhouse planning, grow tents, and recurring crop production where timing matters for space, labor, inventory, and harvest planning.
The planner can estimate a harvest window, build a full stage-by-stage timeline, and even calculate a recommended start date when you already know your desired harvest date.
How this grow timeline planner works
The planner builds a schedule using practical stage lengths such as propagation, vegetative growth, transition, flower or finish period, flush, drying, curing, and optional recovery or buffer time. In easy mode it uses crop templates. In advanced mode it lets you define each stage manually.
What each parameter means
- Start date: the day the crop cycle begins.
- Grow type: crop style such as photoperiod, autoflower, or leafy crop template.
- Training intensity: how much recovery time may be needed for topping, pruning, or structural work.
- Propagation days: time for germination, rooting, or early establishment.
- Vegetative days: main structural growth period before transition.
- Transition days: stretch or environmental shift period.
- Flower / finish days: reproductive or finishing phase before harvest.
- Flush / final prep: optional final stage before cutting or collection.
- Drying and curing: post-harvest timeline planning.
Why timeline planning matters
Good schedule planning helps growers coordinate labor, lighting cycles, irrigation strategy, nutrient stocking, drying space, and harvest turnover. It also helps avoid overcrowding the grow room, missing key training windows, or running out of time for drying and finishing.
For growers running repeated cycles, a timeline planner also helps with crop rotation and more predictable production.
How to use the countdown mode
Countdown mode is useful when you already know the target harvest date and need to work backwards to find the best start date. This can help with seasonal planning, room turnover, production deadlines, or aligning a crop with future availability targets.
It is best to add some real-world buffer if you expect slower phenotypes, heavier training, or drying delays.
Best practice for growers
- Use conservative stage estimates when planning commercial or important harvest windows.
- Add buffer time for heavy training, environmental setbacks, or slower finishing phenotypes.
- Plan drying and curing space before harvest, not after.
- Review timelines together with lighting schedule, irrigation plan, and labor availability.
- Track real crop durations and update your future timeline plans from actual results.

About us. Our 9 year history
GoToGarden started in 2017 out of personal frustration. Our founder was a hobby grower who spent hours navigating online shops that felt built by people who had never touched a plant — cluttered layouts, vague product descriptions, no real guidance on what to actually buy or why. He knew there had to be a better way.
