Biotabs Bactrex 1 kg contains Trichoderma fungi and organic soil bacteria, specifically Bacillus spp. This formulation protects seedlings and cuttings from pathogens. It is a dry, water-soluble powder packed with beneficial soil and root microorganisms, including six strains of Bacillus spp., Trichoderma fungi, and actinomycetes. This combination is selected for its impact on soil structure and fertility.
These specialized root bacteria are delivered in a Yucca plant extract with organic catalysts, ensuring rapid colonization and robust root ball development. Rhizobacteria form symbiotic relationships with plants, increasing the solubility of minerals like phosphorus, potassium, and calcium. They also fix atmospheric nitrogen, enhancing nutrient availability at the roots and supporting mycorrhizal development.
Trichoderma species are antagonistic to certain other fungi that cause plant diseases. For this reason, Bactrex should be applied as a soil treatment or immediately after sowing or planting to outcompete harmful fungi. Research indicates that combining Trichoderma with mycorrhizae offers mutual benefits. Bactrex contains 8 different bacteria, Trichoderma, and humic acid.
