This Growth Technology EC standard solution provides a measured electrical conductivity (EC) value specifically at 1.413 parts per million. Regular calibration of your EC meter is essential for accurate nutrient solution readings. Failure to calibrate can lead to unreliable measurements, potentially causing crop loss or plant damage due to incorrect nutrient levels.
For accurate measurements, use only a small sample of the solution in a separate container for testing. Discarding the used sample prevents contamination of the main solution, extending its shelf life.
