This 200mm Hailea air stone disk is designed to enhance dissolved oxygen content in nutrient solutions for hydroponic systems. It functions by creating fine bubbles when air is pumped through it, increasing the surface area for gas exchange. This process is crucial for root health and nutrient uptake in all stages of plant growth.
Ideal for professional cultivators and larger operations, this air stone is compatible with air pumps to oxygenate reservoirs. The disk shape provides the widest surface area for efficient diffusion among the Hailea disk models. To use, connect it via airline tubing to an air pump and submerge it in your nutrient solution. Ensure the air pump provides sufficient flow rate for the 200mm disk.
