Control fan speed and lighting output
This triac controller adjusts output voltage from 0% to 100% for inductive and resistive loads up to 900W (3.9A). It features a smooth voltage regulation knob and a secondary knob to set a minimum output threshold, preventing motors from stalling. The integrated main switch includes LED indication, and a 5A fuse protects the unit. Passive cooling ensures long-term operation. It is designed for wall or surface mounting and comes with a 3-meter power cord and a socket for the connected appliance.
Ideal for hobbyist growers, this controller can manage multiple devices simultaneously, provided the total load does not exceed 900W. Applications include regulating the speed of 230V electric motors, such as ventilation fans, or dimming lighting systems like incandescent and halogen bulbs. It is important to avoid running motors below 10% of their capacity long-term, as this can prevent adequate cooling and lead to damage. The unit is rated IP44, suitable for non-condensing humidity levels up to 90%RH.
