Gravity-fed watering system for off-grid use
This self-watering system utilizes a 10.5-litre water reservoir bag and 5 meters of irrigation tubing to deliver water via 6 adjustable drippers. It operates on a gravity-feed principle, offering a low-cost alternative to drip irrigation, making it suitable for locations without mains water access.
The system is designed to operate autonomously, typically emptying its 10.5-litre reservoir within 24 hours, depending on dripper flow rates, providing two days of plant hydration. It is ideal for short periods away, such as weekends. The water bag and tubing are constructed from recycled PVC, while the drippers are made from polycarbonate. The system can be mounted on standard greenhouse extrusions using the included hardware.
